Lift proud is a deadlift only, non-gendered, inclusive strength event to celebrate pride and fundraise for the queer community in New Mexico!

In collaboration with other gyms and small businesses across the city, this event brings together LGBTQIA+ athletes and their allies for a day of strength, celebration and visibility. This event aims to raise funds for the local queer community while celebrating the strength of every body!
This event centers inclusion and strength at every size — no weigh-ins or gendered divisions. This is a chance to show off your strength in an uplifting and supportive environment!
Through collective effort, local partnerships, and shared space across Albuquerque, Lift Proud aims to turn strength into tangible impact for the local community.

Like a powerlifting meet, athletes will have three attempts to hit their heaviest deadlift.
With cheering and support in a fun and inclusive environment, we hope to see personal records and some heavy lifts!

Enjoy food and local brews from our host, Canteen Brewhouse.
Celebrate Pride with us as we lift up our community! Proceeds from this event will benefit the Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico.
